Well everyone, I’m back!

It was a great adventure and I’ll be updating again when I next visit London in Jan.

Till then!

London Day 9

Ha! My first attempt at uploading the video was in vain. Because it was over 10 minutes long, Youtube didn’t accept it. So I had to do some fancy editing. This is where the blog comes in handy . . .

The stuff I had to cut was mainly about the Globe Theatre and some of the interesting facts surrounding it. Because the cheap seats were at ground level (those people actually stood for the duration of the performance), the actors ended up being really up close and personal and therefore could smell the crowd. As it was normal to shower TWICE a YEAR it smelled pretty bad down there. The audience on ground level were known as the groundlings BUT that’s not what the actors called them. The actors called them the penny stinkards because they paid a penny and stunk to high heavens! Good stuff!

OK! I’m headed home today. Wish me luck! I think I’ll take this party to the US!
